Our Missions Statement
Working hand in hand with Native Americans… Physically and Spiritually!

Pacific NW Outreach Finances
Our mission is not sponsored or supported by any single denomination, church or government agency. It is funded by people like you who love God and are willing to help so that Native Americans may hear the Good News of God’s love and forgiveness and receive physical help to relieve hunger and pain.

The expenses to operate “the big rigs” and carry groceries, clothes, appliances, tools and vehicles to the farthest reaches of the western United States are great. Your donations will help us meet these expenses. You may give through the mail, personally at our offices, or through our website using the “Donations Link Here” and on the Right menu.

You may also want to donate vehicles, motorcycles, airplanes, boats, clothing, household goods, furniture, musical instruments, Bibles or Christian literature. Many of these items are taken directly to the reservations and Native American pastors distribute them to their tribes. In addition, we provide opportunities for people to remember Pacific NW Outreach in their wills. If you would like help in planning your estate giving please contact our office at: (503) 492-0904

How It All Began
Over forty years ago, Pacific NW Outreach, Inc., began. The founder of the mission, Don Cline, was on a moose hunt in British Columbia, Canada. Because of a personal commitment to not hunt on Sundays, Don offered a Gospel service instead. Indians, cowboys, and hunters alike gathered for the service. Afterward, several responded to commit their lives to Christ as their Savior. One of them was a big Indian! He threw his muscular arms around Don’s neck and said, “Come and help us. We understand you when you talk. The nearest church is one hundred miles away and we only have horses. Please help us!”

Later that night as Don prayed and walked in a rustic horse corral, he cried out to God, “Why don’t you do something? Why don’t you help these people?” The response Don heard from God that starry night in western Canada was, “Why don’t you do something?”

Pacific NW Outreach, Inc. was born and began making history. Since it’s inception, the Gospel has been preached and many Native Americans, just like that first big Indian, have heard the Good News of God’s love and forgiveness.

Did You Know?
There are nearly three hundred Indian reservations in the United States. Since these lands have been reserved, Native Americans have struggled with adjustments, hardship and difficulty. Severe alcoholism, drug addiction, teen-age pregnancy, domestic violence and unemployment have plagued the Native American reservations.

Some suggest agriculture and business opportunities would off-set these problems. However, capital expenses, cash flow, machinery, arid climates and soil conditions all provide insurmountable difficulties for Indian enterprises.

So, the question that looms before us is; “Who will help the Indian people of North America?” The answer: Pacific NW Outreach!

Jesus Christ told his followers, “when you have done it to one of the least of these.you have done it to me!” Feeding the hungry, giving clothes to the needy, visiting the sick and imprisoned… are all Biblical mandates for us to follow. We know that hearts are more receptive to the Good News of God’s love and forgiveness when human hurts have been lessened. Our goal is to reach more Indians with the Gospel by helping more Indian pastors with the essentials of life and spiritual support. This partnership and team approach will touch the lives of Native Americans in a life-changing way and will bring real solutions to these very real problems.

Did you know that you can help? You can get involved today! We invite you to investigate this expanding and exciting missionary outreach to Native Americans. They live in our back-yard, yet are dying and going into eternity without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He alone is the source of real peace and joy and is the Savior of the world. Join us now, become a part of the team and get involved!

Our Goals And Objectives
From the beginning, Pacific NW Outreach has been a ministry dedicated to helping Native Americans. The greatest help of all comes with the good news of love and forgiveness. It’s the Good News that there is a God in Heaven who loves them so much that He gave His Son to forgive them from every wrong. And, when they believe in Him as their Savior they will not perish but will have eternal life! Through friendship and care we are able to tell the message, not only on the “back side” of the reservation, but in the local chapels established by Native American pastors. Pacific NW Outreach is committed to encouraging and enabling these pastors and helping in every way possible to train and equip them for ministry and service. By doing this, Native Americans realize that becoming a Christ-follower does not mean becoming a white man.
